Tell us these before your first visit

None of them rule anything out. All of them change how treatment is done, and the awkward time to find out is once you are on the table.

• pregnancy, or trying to conceive, or fertility treatment
• blood thinners — warfarin, apixaban, rivaroxaban, clopidogrel, daily aspirin
• a pacemaker, defibrillator, nerve stimulator or pump
• lymphoedema, or lymph nodes removed, and which side
• diabetes affecting the feet, or any reduced sensation
• recent surgery, or broken skin in the area
• if you have ever fainted at a blood test — you will be treated lying down from the start

What to have ready when you ring

A list of what you take, including anything from a pharmacy shelf and anything herbal. It decides more than any other single thing about what is appropriate, and having it in front of you saves a second call.

And a sentence about what the problem is and how long it has been going on. That is enough for us to tell you whether this is the right place or whether you should see a doctor first — and we will tell you the second one when it applies.

Parking and transport

Buses run along Longueville Road from the city and from Chatswood. Street parking in the surrounding streets and in the village car parks, metered and timed during the day.
